Today it’s my birthday, yay!  Double yay we are on holidays (currently in Koh Samui)!  It was also our 9th wedding anniversary earlier in the week and we celebrated our anniversary in Khao Lak with a lovely day of swimming, relaxing, massages and a beach dinner with the kids.

We had several beach dinners and it was extremely pleasant sitting on the beach, watching the sun set over the Andaman sea, eating yummy food and drinking yummy cocktails. The kids enjoyed their beach dinners, but loved that they could play in the sand and run along the beach when they had finished eating.

Of course most nights I took my camera (surprise, surprise!).  Anyone who likes to take photos knows that moment when you see something awesome and just have to pick up your camera and start shooting…..  One night both kids were just running along the sand, jumping, spinning and playing. Picking up sticks and just being kids. The sun was setting and the kid were just being so adorable! The photos are unposed, undirected, the kids were just being kids. Sticks, sand, laughter and all.

I took a bunch of photos and have yet to edit most of them, but here are a few I loved and thought I’d share for today’s photo Friday.
