I thought it was time for another Favourite Photo Friday, I haven’t done one in awhile…….. This week it’s a random collection of Canberra photos from the last few weeks. Sometimes this city is beautiful, and we even have fun here!
First up, we’ve been doing a lot of riding training for our upcoming bike tours. Over the long weekend we rode over 100km and I did a test with all the camera gear. One of the disadvantages of a full-frame camera and pro-lenses, they are big and heavy! I got my gear set-up pretty much sorted though, and even grabbed a few shots, this one of Anto and Astrid near Yarralumla, as we were riding into a storm is a favourite!
………. and this one from the same spot. Blue hour, shot from the bike, no tripod!
Astrid planted some sunflower seeds at the start of Summer, we have grown over 40 sunflowers so far, they have been spectacular……..

The hot Summer has meant plenty of waterlilies in our pond too! It’s not so bad having these in your garden….
Our awesome butterfly that we hatched from a caterpillar in our kitchen over Summer…..

While eating our noodle market dinner, Canberra put on a spectacular sunset over the lake…….
The coolest sculpture at Enlighten!

Always a fun place to do long exposures of the changing lights, you end up with some cool ghostly figures!
I love this image!
Thanks Tania, the light was pretty cool, we didn’t quite beat the storm or the dark home though 🙂
I love how the clouds look and the Enlighten cloud looking photo.
Amazing as always xoxo
