It’s the second last photo Friday for the year, and I thought as a break from the predicted onslaught of kiddy Christmas photos I’d post some of my favourite flower pics for the week.
Summer means lots of purple things flowering in our garden. We have a heap of purple agapanthus, which are always fun to photograph – they look so different from different angles, and I love how they emerge from their buds. I also have some lilacs in flower and a few purple annuals that have sprung up. I took these photos one morning earlier in the week, after a brief thunderstorm, which always makes for lovely photos with clean flowers and rain droplets. It was a very purple week…..
